About the Doctors
Priscilla Johns Bond, DMD
After graduating from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry with her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, Dr. Priscilla Johns Bond completed her pediatric dental specialty training at Indiana University and James Whitcomb Riley Hospital for Children. She completed a two-year fellowship with United Cerebral Palsy and has been providing dental care to children since 1985.
Dr. Bond is a Diplomate with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and is a member of the American Dental Association, Kentucky Dental Association and the Louisville Dental Society. She currently serves as faculty at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Bond has two grown boys and lives with two dogs. She loves photography, biking, hiking, and anything active.
Thomas G. Ison, DDS
Providing pediatric dental care since 1994, Dr. Thomas G. Ison graduated from Morehead State with his undergraduate degree and the University of Kentucky with his dental degree. He continued at the University of Kentucky Chamber Medical Center, where he completed a pediatric dental residency and also completed a fellowship at Indiana University and James Whitcomb Riley Hospital for Children.
Dr. Ison is a Diplomate with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and maintains memberships with the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Kentucky Dental Association, Louisville Dental Society. He is currently the President Elect of the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, and has served as past president of the Kentucky Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Ison is married and has a teen-aged daughter. The family has one very spoiled dog that runs the house. Dr. Ison enjoys golfing and running. He has run several half marathons, including the Kentucky Derby Mini Marathon.
